This year, we are not able to meet in person for our normal Thanksgiving Eve service. Instead, we invite you to read and meditate on the document linked here from the Synod of the Trinity.

Hymn: Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
Call to Worship God is like a gentle shepherd, leading us beyond our wants. He leads us beyond our fears and brings us to a place of rest. It is here that we hear the music of God's great love. It gives us new strength to walk through the valleys and shadows of life that can sometimes be a scary place.

Hymn: We Gather Together to Ask the Lord's Blessing
Call to Worship It is God that draws us here, it is a yearning to praise that which is much bigger than any of us. It is a desire to give thanks for the bountiful gifts of life. It is God who draws us here for comfort in a bruising world. He challenges our half-hearted efforts to be the children of God that we have the potential to be. It is God who draws us here.

Hymn: O Day of Rest and Gladness
Call to Worship Lord we come this morning with open hearts and open minds. We come looking for guidance as we make tough decisions that affect our lives in ways that we cannot imagine. And in the process of making those decisions we recall how important our relationship with You can be. As life's problems continue to confront us, help us to be prepared for what is ahead. Please Lord, give us a great sense of comfort and contentedness in each new day that we are blessed with. |
