Sunday Services
We're so glad you are interested in joining us for Sunday School or Sunday morning Worship! Below, you will find some information about what to expect at North Buffalo.
Sunday School
In person Sunday School meets each Sunday morning at 10 am. We first share joys and concerns, sing and pray together. We use the hymnal Songs for Christian Worship. Then, we meet for our lessons.
The adult class uses Standard Publishing's quarterly lessons with passages from the New International Version (NIV) Bible translation. Four teachers rotate writing a lesson for the class based on the teacher's book. Our adult lessons are available here on our website. In person, we read the lesson together, and then discuss it. This might include what we were reminded of, questions for discussion, or questions that came up while reading.

Traditionally, Sunday School for children has had different classes divided by age. Each week the children study a Bible passage, and learn the basics of our faith in a supportive environment. All children are welcome to join!
Worship Service
Sunday morning worship begins at 11 a.m. and is a traditional worship service. All are welcome to join us. During our worship service, we use the Glory to God hymnal. You can find recordings of our worship services with the bulletin on our Sunday Sermons page, or you can check out our YouTube channel.
If you are able to join us in person, you will be greeted by someone and given a bulletin. The bulletin walks you through the order of our worship service.

Children's Church
Our Children's Church provides a worship service that involves children from the pre-school age thru teenagers. Every child is welcomed predicated upon parental permission. Children's Church is provided every Sunday, except for important occasions when the children remain with the congregation for special services, baptisms, communions, and especially when people join the church.
Our Children's Church lessons undertake one main theme, usually from the Pastor's sermon. This theme is discussed, supported by scripture, and most importantly questioned by the children. Our goal is that the children will understand and be able to apply the lessons to their everyday lives. The children are always encouraged to share their thoughts and feelings.
The children learn that worshipping God can be fun!
*Children's church has paused since the onset of COVID.
