Missions Projects
As a church, we participate in multiple missions projects, donating time, talents and money. The following presents some of the various missions we support.
Handyman Ministry
Congregation members are available to help people with tasks around their homes that they are unable to do.
Mitten Tree - Washington City Mission
The Mitten Tree is set up in the winter to collect cold weather clothing essentials for people from infants to adults. We collect new hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, socks, slippers, etc. Items donated are given to the Washington City Mission.

Operation Christmas Child
Each year, we collect boxes for Operation Christmas Child (run by Samaritan's Purse) in November. Shoeboxes are filled with toys, clothing, personal care items, and other treats for children in different age groups (2-4; 5-9; 10-14). The boxes are distributed to children around the world to share the love of Christ.
In 2017, we collected 71 boxes. Recently, a new feature was added by Samaritan's Purse to allow box tracking. Boxes from our congregation have been to Togo and the Dominican Republic. |
Scouting
North Buffalo Church has hosted scouting troops for 66 years. Currently, both a Boy Scout and a Cub Scout troop meet weekly at the church.
Women's Missionary Society
The Women's Missionary Society meets monthly for a time of devotions, fellowship, and planning for fund raising.
Women on Wednesday
The Women on Wednesday meet for a weekly time of crafting.
