 CALL TO WORSHIP               from Psalm 14
The Lord looks down from heaven on the sons of men
to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.
     The fool says in his heart. “There is no God.”
     These foolish men are corrupt, their deeds are vile.
They have together become corrupt and turned God aside.
There is no one who does good, not even one.
     God is present in the company of the righteous.
     The Lord is the refuge of the poor and their plans.
Will evildoers never learn?
They devour my people as men eat bread.
     Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
    The Lord restores the fortunes of His people

We are back, O Lord God, begging for Your forgiveness,
Because we have failed You again.  We have ignored You,
we have offended You, we have cared for our own selves
more than You.  We have badly ignored our neighbors.
We have treated other people as if they are not as
Important as us.  We have sinned.
Forgive us. O Jesus. Give us hope.  Retore our confidence
and give us true meaning in life.  We need You every hour.
