CALL TO CONFESSION
We are seekers after God's will, who have been powerfully claimed by Jesus Christ. Remembering who we are intended to be, let us come to God's holy place to find forgiveness, healing and empowerment:
PRAYER OF CONFESSION (UNISON)
O God, our God, we confess that we have lifted up our souls to what is false. We have deceived ourselves and other people by not doing what we teach others they should do. The life we have led is not always worthy of Jesus. Our words and actions have belabored others rather than helping them see the light of your Gospel through us. We
ourselves are bound by our biases that hold us back from loving our neighbor as we ourselves want to be loved. Forgive us, O God, and place a right heart within us. Amen.
*Time of silent prayer.
Assurance of Pardon

HYMN Love Divine, All Loves Excelling 21
God is love. Let us continue the legacy of love that God began, Jesus proclaimed and practiced, and the saints continued. In the name of the One whose love created, redeems and sustains us. Amen.
Postlude Go Into The World Choir
We welcome all who have come to join us in the worship of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please come again. If you are visiting with us today, please let us know that we might welcome you into our church family.
REMEMBER OUR FOOD COLLECTION: And Jesus said, “You give them something to eat.” Mark 6:37. Please remember our food pantry is available to anyone in need. Replenish with your hands and listen for the need with your ears.
We thank Aleta Starkey for playing the piano today. We also thank Diane Lindley for agreeing to play for the month of November as well as meeting with the choir for practice on Thursday evenings at 6:30 . Anyone who would like to join them, please come. It is great to have the choir back singing praises to our Lord!
Carol and Ed Horne are collecting bottle tabs once again this year and will take to the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Hospital right before Christmas. Carol would like you to be sure they are the nonmagnetic tabs.
Lisa Hamilton has donated Christmas Cards and envelopes which she has placed six in a bag. They are on the table in the back; they are free or if you would like to make a donation it will go to our Women’s Missionary Group.
It is time to fill those Christmas Shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. They will be due back at the
church by November 14th, which is only two weeks away.
We are a small, rural Presbyterian church in southwestern Pennsylvania.
