Mason HYMN For All the Saints 614 CALL TO CONFESSION We are seekers after God's will, who have been powerfully claimed by Jesus Christ. Remembering who we are intended to be, let us come to God's holy place to find forgiveness, healing and empowerment: PRAYER OF CONFESSION (UNISON) O God, our God, we confess that we have lifted up our souls to what is false. We have deceived ourselves and other people by not doing what we teach others they should do. The life we have led is not always worthy of Jesus. Our words and actions have belabored others rather than helping them see the light of your Gospel through us. We ourselves are bound by our biases that hold us back from loving our neighbor as we ourselves want to be loved. Forgive us, O God, and place a right heart within us. Amen. *Time of silent prayer. Assurance of Pardon Hear the Good News! In Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven! PEOPLE: Thanks be to God! *Passing the Peace L: The peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Carol and Ed Horne are collecting bottle tabs once again this year and will take to the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Hospital right before Christmas. Carol would like you to be sure they are the nonmagnetic tabs. Lisa Hamilton has donated Christmas Cards and envelopes which she has placed six in a bag. They are on the table in the back; they are free or if you would like to make a donation it will go to our Women’s Missionary Group. It is time to fill those Christmas Shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. They will be due back at the church by November 14th, which is only two weeks away.
