INVOCATION Nellie Baker
HYMN “ My Faith Looks up to Thee” 84 PRAYER OF CONFESSION (UNISON) Oh God of hope, how often we have lived as if there were no hope to be found. We neglect to see Christ in the other person. We do not look for the brightness of Christ’s love in the shadows. We have forgotten how to share hope with those in need. Forgive us our short-sightedness and give us the vision to see you at work in the world around us. When we see others who are hurting, enable us to find ways of bringing your hope to others. Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us. Through Christ we pray. Amen Assurance of Pardon *Time of silent prayer. *Passing the Peace L: The peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
