Mason HYMN Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee 377 CALL TO CONFESSION We turn to God in prayer. In that spirit, we offer this prayer of confession and unburdening: PRAYER OF CONFESSION God on high, you are holy. You are Sovereign and you reign over all the earth. We confess that we take so much credit for our strivings and efforts. We have built great towers and made incredible technological advances. We can heal and create and accomplish amazing feats of athleticism. Yet, in all of this, we do not recognize your hand. We do not acknowledge that apart from you we can do nothing. God, we thank you that you have given us such incredible gifts and created us with intricate minds and bodies. God, thank you for the reminder that you are over all and in all and through all. Forgive us for forgetting your work in our lives and world. May you alone receive glory for all that you do through us. In your holy name. Amen.
