He gives us tasks to perform, yet we do as we please. He sends us to minister on behalf of those suffering; we are slow to respond until our own needs are met. He expects us to praise You in all that we do; we take all the credit for those things we do well. Forgive us and help us to be more obedient. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen *TIME OF PERSONAL REFLECTION *ASSURANCE OF PARDON - UNISON: “In Christ there is no East or West, in Him no South or North, but one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth.” In Jesus Christ there is new life, in Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Carol and Ed Horne are collecting bottle tabs once again this year and will take to the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Hospital right before Christmas. Carol would like you to be sure they are the nonmagnetic tabs. Lisa Hamilton has donated Christmas Cards and envelopes which she has placed six in a bag. They are on the table in the back; they are free or if you would like to make a donation it will go to our Women’s Missionary Group. It is time to fill those Christmas Shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. They will be due back at the church by November 14th, which is next week.
