Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, all of his servants! 
   Let the name of the LORD be praised now and forever more! 
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, His glory above the heavens. 
Who is like the LORD our God?  He sits enthroned on high yet     looks upon the earth. 
He raises the poor and lowly and seats them with princes. 
Praise the LORD now and forever more!

* PRAYER OF CONFESSION: 
O merciful Father, do not consider what we have done against you; but what our blessed Savior has done for us.  Don’t consider what we have made of ourselves, but what He is making of us for You our God.  O that Christ may be “wisdom and righteousness, sanctification and redemption” to every one of our souls.  May His precious blood cleanse us from all our sins, and Your Holy Spirit renew and sanctify our souls.  May He crucify our flesh with its passion and lusts and cleanse all our brother and sisters in Christ across the earth.
