We bow down before You, and praise Your name When we call, You answer us May we sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the Lord is great Though the LORD is exalted, He looks kindly on the lowly Even when we walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve our lives With Your hand, You have saved us. Come now to worship Him! INVOCATION:
INVOCATION:
*Hymn “Come Thou Almighty King” # 2 * PRAYER OF CONFESSION: LORD, in our pride we have valued pleasing others and ourselves more than pleasing You. We have sought the approval of the things You have created and ignored the approval of their creator. We have conformed to the image of this world and resisted the ways You have been making us like Your Son. Have mercy on us for thinking more of this world and less of Your kingdom. Have mercy on us for wanting to be guided by our sinfulness and not Your Spirit. Forgive us and remember our sin no more.
