* PRAYER OF CONFESSION: (Unison) Heavenly Father, we know that Your plans and your will are often contrary to the things we want. We are a people who want things to happen now, we enjoy immediate satisfaction but as we study Your word we see that Your will unfolds in many ways. Sometimes Your will is accomplished through blessings and results in our happiness, sometimes Your will is accomplished through trails and long suffering. In those moments, we are quick to turn from You and forsake You. We are quick to forget that our God is good and His ways are higher than ours. Forgive us for being people quick to turn from You when times are hard. Forgive us for not trusting in You and all Your ways. Give us renewed hearts given fully to You.
