Second Sunday of Advent
Prelude: Ron Dobscha ANNOUNCEMENTS: Advent candle lighting: Mary E. & Debbie R. CALL TO WORSHIP: The Lord’s might shakes the earth. All of creation trembles at the power of our God. Great and awesome is the Lord in all the earth! We prostrate ourselves before the Lord, bow down in humbleness before Him, and come to worship Him. Worthy is the Lord to be praised. Praise Him for his might in all the earth and praise Him for His great love for us. INVOCATION

* PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Heavenly Father, we are guilty of thinking too lowly of You. We do not take Your commands seriously, we do not place You as the head of our lives, we do not give You the love or honor Your name deserves. Forgive us for not taking Your Kingship more seriously. Forgive us for trying to be the masters of our own universe when there is only one. Have mercy on us, Almighty God. Keep us as Your own and in Your mercy, cleanse us of our sin.
