*PRAYER OF CONFESSION: God of Yesterday, today and tomorrow, God of the beginning and the end of times; You have called us to lay aside all that binds us from our love and service to You and Your kingdom. Though we know the power of Your grace and the new life You have begun, yet we confess that we continue to cling to our old ways. We have lived and acted time and again not as the new creation You have begun, but as the old person serving our sinful inclinations. Forgive us, Gracious God. By Your Spirit, lead us in a way that honors You, the Christ who is coming in glory to reign.
