*PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Almighty God, though we know better, we have walked the roads of life without recognizing You and Your care in our lives. We have worried about our own needs and desires rather than hearing You. Too often, Lord, we have sought to love and serve ourselves and made idols our of things of this world. So, this day, we confess that we are in need of Your grace for forgiveness, for transformation. Open our eyes that we may see You and respond, knowing that Your righteousness extends to us and therefore, we seek to live by that same righteousness. For we pray in the name of Jesus, the Christ we pray. From Rev. Scott Shetter: This year, we joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK walk. With Kimberly’s diagnosis two years ago, this fight has come to the forefront of our attention. So many millions of women are diagnosed each year. No matter the level of diagnosis, the physical, mental, and emotional toll are exacting. Medications are rough on the body no matter whether it is Chemo, radiation, or hormone suppressants. Each woman has heir own journey and survivors must heal at their own unique pace. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of our fundraising efforts. Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Will you please join us in his fight by making your donation today?
