Prelude: Ron Dobscha
ANNOUNCEMENTS: CALL TO WORSHIP: (Psalm 8) How majestic is our LORD? In all the earth, His majesty is declared. In the heavens or on earth, His glory is seen. From all His creation He receives praise. When we think of all Your wonders, how You hang the stars and moon, how You set everything in place, who are we that You should care for us? Out of Your great love and care for us, You have crowned us with glory and honor. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! Come now and give Him the worship worthy of His name! * PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Search us, O God, and know our heart; try us and know our thoughts. See where there is darkness and sin and lead us in the way that leads to real abundant life. Holy and Merciful God, we confess to You and to one another that we have sinned against You. We have sinned in thought, word, and deed by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved You with our whole heart, mind, body and soul. We Have not loved our neighbors as ourself. Accept our prayers of repentance oh God. Know that we are sorry for choosing a path that ultimately hurts Your heart and kills ours. * PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Lord, we confess today that our hearts have not been given fully to You. There have been times when the Gospel has thrilled us, when Jesus seemed so precious to us and other times when everything else seemed more important than the Savior. Forgive us for giving our attention to anything above Your Son. Forgive us for treasuring any worldly message above the message of the Gospel. See us not as we are but as Your Son is and give us hearts that treasure what You have done through Your Son above anything else in this world. Amen *Time of silent prayer *Assurance of Pardon *Response – Gloria Patri # 581 *Passing of the peace Children’s Chat Prayer for Illumination Scripture reading: Jeremiah 31: 7-14 Chris Cipoletti Sermon text: Galatians 1: 1-9 *Hymn “Take My Life” # 697 *Apostles Creed (on back of Joys & Concerns) Presentation of our tithes and offering Offertory *Doxology # 606 *Prayer of dedication Concerns and celebrations Prayers of the people The Lord’s Prayer INVITATION TO THE LORD’S TABLE “Let us Break Bread Together” #525 Communion “Alleluia” (1 verse/ see insert) INVOCATION “A Hymn of Joy we Sing” (See Insert) Benediction Postlude Ron Dobscha ** Please Stand if Possible

Practice starts at 7pm and game starts at 7:30. Next year will be North Buffalo’s 250th anniversary! As one way to celebrate our years of blessings, we want to give back to our community, each month we will have a project with a goal that has a 25 in it. For January we will hold a blanket drive. Our goal is to collect enough blankets for 25 families in Charleroi, through a Presbyterian Church there. This should be about 100 blankets. Starting in January we will have boxes to collect the blankets. I believe we start our WOW meetings again Wednesday the 8th at 9:30 am in the social hall. Hope everyone had a happy and safe new year! Let's pray for the families of the New Orleans tragedy.
