* PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Heavenly Father, like the people of Judah who read and reread Your law yet continuously turned away from it, so we have been. You have written Your laws upon our hearts and yet we harden our hearts to those things and suppress them for the ways of sin. We have been rebels and disobedient children. We commit ourselves to following You and are quick to turn from that commitment. But even today, as we come before You covered in sin, help us to see the One who never sins. Turn our sin weary hearts back to Jesus today and in His love for us, wash us clean. AMEN Time of silent prayer *Assurance of Pardon *Response – Gloria Patri # 581 *Passing of the peace Children’s Chat Prayer for Illumination Scripture reading: John 10: 11- 18 Sermon text: Nehemiah 13 *Hymn “Take My Life” # 697 *Apostles Creed Presentation of our tithes and offering Offertory *Doxology *Prayer of dedication Concerns and Celebrations Prayers of the People The Lord’s Prayer *Hymn “I, the Lord of Sea and Sky” # 69 *Benediction Postlude: Ron Dobscha
